Bio

Hasan received his Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Patna. He continued with his Master of Science (M. Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering at ETH Zürich with a focus on microrobotics. He wrote his Master Thesis at the Multi-Scale Robotics Lab in ETH, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Bradley J. Nelson, on using micropillars as intracellular viscosity sensors. He later worked as a Guest Scientist at the Physical Intelligence lab of the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems, under Prof. Dr. Metin Sitti.

Hasan is currently at The BioRobotics Institute of Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna Pisa for a joint Ph. D. along with KU Leuven, as Early Stage Researcher with the Marie Curie ATLAS project under European Union Innovative Training Network. He is a member of IEEE Robotics & Automation Society and a Student member of IEEE.
