Zhen received her Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Intelligent Science and Technology from Nankai University (NKU), China. She continued with her ERASMUS MUNDUS Master, European Master on Advanced Robotics + (EMARO+) at Warsaw University of Technology (WUT) and Ecole Centrale de Nantes (ECN). She wrote her Master Thesis at the LS2N Lab in ECN, under the guidance of Prof. Stéphane Caro and Prof. Abdelhamid Chriette, on Design and Control of an Aerial Cable Towed System with Variable Cable Lengths.
Zhen is currently at The Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering (DEIB) of Politecnico di Milano (POLIMI) for a joint Ph. D. along with Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), as Early Stage Researcher with the Marie Curie ATLAS project under European Union Innovative Training Network.
