Plenary talk on simulation

During the past month, most of the ESRs participated in weekly meetings, and discussed about a common topic: simulation. In our last session, we had the opportunity to listen to an experienced opinion from Vladimir Poliakov.

Vladimir is a PhD student at KU Leuven, working on the development of a Virtual Reality simulator for in-office hysteroscopy. In his talk, he introduced to us the architecture he implemented, combining the power of the physical engine SOFA, with the great visual rendering of Filament. Here, some results obtained:
